Opt out of the cycle of buy/wear/discard with Mend in Public Day!
Join us in Hitchin town square for some gentle revitalising of well-loved garments from 10am till noon.
Bring your own repair project, some sewing stuff and a non-disposable cup for a hot drink. None of us are experts but we're happy to offer tips from our own experience of hand-sewn mending, visible and invisible.
We'll have an A-frame up so shouldn't be hard to spot - hopefully round a table at Cafe Air if we can get one. Looking forward to seeing you - all welcome expecially men, young people and people of colour! Viva diversity! Repair is a revolutionary act!
