In case you missed the last Common Room Open Studio, we will have a second run from April 19-25 at the Mess Studio for Fashion Revolution Week! Mess Studio invites everyone to be a Fashion Revolutionary and try their hand at creating new textile from fabric wastes! ! The studio will be open to walk-in guests, free of charge, where they can use the shared tools at the studio to create new textile or art from scraps. Guests will have access to tools like sewing materials, needles, embroidery loops, yarns, and threads to repair and refresh textile wastes . This event is a perfect lead-up to Fashion Revolution Week, promoting sustainable fashion and the art of mending. Everyone is welcome to join and get creative! Finished textile pieces will be transformed by Common Room PH into functional fabric pieces for the Mess Studio.
